Matthew Collins

Founder and Co-Owner

Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Matthew has always had a passion for creating, which has been a constant throughout his life. After graduating from Boone High School, he served in the United States Army, where he developed core values that align with those of Collins Carpentry and Remodeling: honesty, integrity, good communication, and punctuality. These principles guide his approach to managing employees, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and overseeing all scheduling. By upholding these values, Matthew ensures that every project runs smoothly from start to finish, maintaining the high standards that clients have come to expect from Collins Carpentry and Remodeling.

Hannah Collins

Founder and Co-Owner

Born and raised in Central Florida, Hannah has always had a passion for planning and organization. After graduating from Lake Brantley High School, she attended Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. As the driving force behind the office work and social media for Collins Carpentry and Remodeling, Hannah ensures that operations run smoothly. She upholds the values of honesty, organization, and quality in everything she does, helping maintain the company’s reputation for excellence.

Keano Francis

Crew Leader

Keano has always had a passion for working with his hands and bringing creative visions to life from start to finish. Born in the U.S. Virgin Islands and raised in Central Florida, he began learning the trade at 16 under the guidance of a family friend, working as a handyman. At 19, he further honed his skills by attending HBI trade school, where he completed a carpentry pre-apprenticeship. His experience spans a variety of projects, including remodeling clubs and bars downtown, as well as working on Airbnbs and apartments. Keano has now been with Collins Carpentry and Remodeling for over two years and serves as our crew leader. He is currently aspiring to advance into the role of field operations manager.

Fraicoll Ducasse

Crew Member

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Fraicoll took classes in English and computer engineering while beginning his career in construction, primarily working with cement. After visiting Florida from 2012 to 2015, he returned to Orlando in June 2015 to make it his home. Known for his passion for learning, Fraicoll consistently seeks opportunities to broaden his skills in the remodeling industry. His expertise spans demolition, framing, and drywall work, and he’s always eager to take on new challenges. Dedicated to delivering high-quality results and ensuring customer satisfaction, Fraicoll combines hard work with a positive, can-do attitude on every project.

Jacob Melendez

Crew Member


Born in Milwaukee and raised in Orlando, Jacob was introduced to carpentry by his father at age 13 and began remodeling homes with his family by 15. Since joining the family trade at 18, he has gained experience in various trades but excels in finish carpentry and millwork. He takes pride in his work, viewing it as a form of art, and is motivated by the desire to impress both himself and others. Jacob enjoys residential projects, where his craftsmanship can shine, and strives to keep his employers and customers happy.

Caiden Collins

Apprentice/Helper

Caiden is our oldest son and a high school sophomore who is homeschooled. As part of his elective courses, he spends a few days each week working alongside our crews, learning the trade hands-on. With an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong commitment to honesty and integrity, Caiden dreams of one day taking over Collins Carpentry and Remodeling and eventually expanding into real estate investment. He is often found assisting with demolition, organizing trailers, managing clean-up, and supporting our crew members while gaining valuable experience from the ground up.

Waylon Collins

Aspiring Apprentice

Waylon is our youngest son and a homeschooled kindergartener. He often tags along with Dad on trips to the landfill, picking up materials, and attending meetings with our subcontractors, getting an early glimpse into the family business.
